Dr. Pilli Emmanuel Shubhakar

Associate Professor, Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur

Dr. Emmanuel Shubhakar Pilli is the Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science of Engineering in Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. He has received M. Tech (Computer Science) degree from Birla Institute of Technology Ranchi in 2001. He received his Ph. D (Computer Science) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in 2012. He was Awarded the ISEA Fellowship by the Department of Information Technology, Govt. of India, for his research in Information Security. He has 24+ years of teaching, research and administrative experience. He also Officiated as Head, Department of CSE in MNIT from June 2019 – June 2021. He is Honorary Dean (Network & Hardware), Rajasthan ILD Skill University, Jaipur since June 2019. He served as a Co-coordinator for Electronics and ICT Academy (hosted at MNIT) – sponsored by Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY), Govt of India since December 2015. He is Regional Coordinator, Regional Academic Center for Space (RAC-S) by ISRO @ MNIT. He Supervised 7 Ph. D Thesis, 38 M. Tech dissertations and around 35 B. Tech projects. Currently he is guiding 8 Ph. D and 2 M. Tech students in the areas of his interest - Security, Forensics, Cloud Computing, Big Data, IoT, Blockchain, and Quantum Computing. He has 80+ papers in International Journals and Conferences of repute. He has Published a research papers in IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing (IF 5.94) and IEEE Communication Surveys and Tutorials (IF 25.25). He has Co-authored a book "Fundamentals of Network Forensics - A Research Perspective" for Springer. He is the Senior Member – IEEE, Senior Member – ACM, Life Member – CSI. He is also Member of Quantum Ecosystems Technology Council of India (QETCI).
