Dr. Pratyay Kuila
Assistant Professor, National Institute of Technology Sikkim
Pratyay Kuila received his B. Tech degree in 2008 and M. Tech degree in 2011 both in Computer Science & Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata. He has received his PhD degree in 2014 from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad. He served as Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Engineering, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, India from June, 2014 to December, 2016. Then he joined National Institute of Technology, Sikkim as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. He acted as referees in many reputed International Journals including ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks, Computer Networks, Ad Hoc Networks, Swarm and Evolutionary Computation, Telecommunication Systems, etc. He has contributed more than 25 research papers in the field of wireless sensor networks and distributed computing. His main research interest is to develop energy efficient topology management, clustering and routing algorithms for Wireless Sensor Networks, optimization algorithms, and energy-efficient algorithms for multiprocessor systems.
